Our Burnside studio is equipped with premium electronic drums—protecting young ears—and a professional audio/visual setup that makes lessons highly interactive. Plus, students get an exclusive online portal to track progress and manage sheet music.
As a registered Rockschool (RSL) teacher, we offer structured, exam-standard technical training—but we keep it fresh. Students learn songs they actually want to play, from the latest Pop and K-Pop to Mandopop and modern worship music.

With 20 years of drumming experience and over a decade of teaching, Isaac has guided more than 40 students—from elementary schoolers to university students—on their musical journeys. He is also fluent in Mandarin Chinese, so he can comfortably teach and communicate with bilingual families.
His proudest achievements aren't just the students who have won awards or passed their certification exams. It's watching a shy, timid student transform into a confident performer on stage. It's the privilege of seeing students who started on day one continue to grow and play years later. At iDrum Academy, Isaac views his role as a mentor: accompanying and guiding his students as they explore their talents, overcome challenges, and build a lifelong love for music.
We offer engaging 1-on-1 coaching and dynamic 2-student group lessons, expertly tailored to each student's age, skill level, and musical goals.

As confidence grows, so does the music. These extended sessions dive deeper into technical exercises, essential rudiments, and song-based learning using modern repertoire.
